lucky #7

Saturday, July 2nd we celebrated our 7th anniversary! I know I say this every year; but I really can't believe it's been that long! It has gone so fast. In that time we have lived in 3 states, 5 houses, have had 5 vehicles, we each have had 4 different jobs and 7+ church callings. We've traveled to California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Canada and Utah together. We made a couple additions our family. The first being Patch, in February 2008. We went through nearly 4 years infertility before our sweet Eli made it here on October 2, 2010. We've had good times and hard times, but I wouldn't change a thing. We wouldn't be where we are now if not for our past experiences and I love where we are now in our lives.

Anyways! On to our day! Lately I've been getting up and exercising after Eli's feeding. He was real generous and  slept from 8-4 with no interruptions which means I slept from 9-4. After I fed him and he went back to sleep I headed to the track. I ended up running for 10 miles! It was my first double-digit run since I had Eli. It felt great to know that I can still do that...and that I actually want to.

Once I got home I got ready and we woke Eli up to go to our wards annual 4th of july pancake breakfast at the park.

After Eli went down for his morning nap, my mom came over so we could go to the temple. We always enjoy doing sealings on our anniversary. It's a good reminder of the promises we made on our wedding day. Another young couple that was in there with us later asked if we were newlyweds. I'll take that as a compliment that we both look young and in love :)

Again, per tradition, we went to Mango's on Main Street for lunch. We went there for lunch after we got married and have been almost every year on our anniversary. Each time we go they ask how many years it's been. The last few years they have given us a free dessert, well this year they topped that and gave us free lunch AND dessert! It was so thoughtful and kind of them.

our usual photographer was off on vacation, so this is the gem we ended up with this year:

We chilled at home as a family for the afternoon then hit up some shopping that evening. Eli is now the proud owner of an umbrella stroller, and therefore the rest of the night I had this song stuck in my head:
